Published in 2006, this is the only known book exclusively covering the founding history of Biddeford Pool first called Winter Harbor, beginning with the early explorers and first settlements.
This book is written in two sections with the second part covering prominent old families and the birth of the summering community, and finally, a detailed history of some of the early rooming houses, inns, and hotels of the Pool.
