Margo Alley is a researcher, genealogist and published Maine author who writes primarily of Biddeford Pool, Maine, and the Maine seacoast in general. She grew up in Biddeford Pool in a typical Maine fisherman's family. She is considered Biddeford Pool's preeminent historian.
She is a board member of the Biddeford Historical Society, has membership interests in the Rebecca Emery Chapter: Daughters of the American Revolution, and she is a keynote speaker on the area's local monuments and tablet's.
Her literary works are stored in the Maine Woman's Writers Collection, the Biddeford Historical Society in Biddeford, Maine, and the Maine Historical Society, Portland, Maine.
Margo recently accepted the huge task of historian for the Biddeford Pool Community Club and will not only bring the records into cronological order but will author the club's spectacular 73 year history.
